I visited Italy without getting out of Brazil

Me and my friends spent the morning working on producing music. We gathered at a charming Portuguese bakery for breakfast, where we searched for synth sounds on our phones to match the vibe we wanted for our song. The spread was delightful, featuring black coffee, croissants with buttery cheese, and sweet treats that melted in our mouths. After our delicious meal, we returned to the studio to begin crafting the music. As my friend worked on the computer, I brainstormed different voices and sounds to incorporate into our new song.

Throughout the morning, our minds were abuzz with creative ideas, fueled by the energy from the delectable breakfast we shared. However, as the morning turned into a hot afternoon, we started to feel a bit lethargic and less inspired. I yawned and finally voiced what everyone was thinking but had not said: "I'm hungry, let's have lunch." Instantly, the group's enthusiasm returned, and we began discussing where to eat.

As luck would have it, our friend's neighbors, an Italian couple running a small restaurant from their home, provided the perfect lunch spot. Upon arriving, a warm and friendly lady welcomed us into their cozy abode. We were seated at a lovely table in their garden, which featured a clean, beautiful pool, lush green grass, and charming plants that added a unique touch to the ambiance. After perusing the menu, I decided to order bruschetta and ravioli.

When the food arrived, it was a moment to remember! The bruschetta was a work of art, with a generous slice of freshly baked homemade Italian bread topped with prosciutto di Parma, small arugula leaves, and fresh mozzarella cheese. Despite its beauty, I couldn't wait and quickly took a bite. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the taste of garlic on the bread was a delightful surprise. I savored each bite, trying to enjoy every unique touch of the dish.

As for the ravioli, it initially seemed small, but any doubts disappeared as soon as I tasted it. With each mouthful, I was transported to Italy, feeling the ambiance of an evening in Rome, accompanied by Dean Martin's "On an Evening in Roma." The dish brought forth the essence of Italy - the gentle breeze, the aroma of great wine - and I relished every moment of it. Food truly has a magical ability to evoke emotions and memories, and I found myself falling in love with it all over again.

If Italy was this captivating in my imagination, I can only imagine how much more incredible it will be in reality. I can't wait to experience it firsthand!
